We welcome UK company Digital Engineering Ltd who, following peer recommendations and employee interest, join WEMC as a new organisation member. Our global members share a common aim – to work together using our shared knowledge and expertise to help create more efficient, sustainable and resilient energy systems.

With headquarters in Bristol, UK, Digital Engineering Ltd (DEL) helps companies understand, mitigate and manage the impact of the weather on their business. They also own European Power Forecasting, which is engaged in renewable forecasting for energy traders.

The diverse team at DEL includes data scientists, meteorologists, mathematicians, computer programmers and engineers using their range of experience to work with companies to solve problems in new and creative ways, using their core skills of weather simulation and modelling to address some of the most important challenges that organisations face.

With future aspirations at DEL to use their skillset in a range of industries, particularly helping businesses mitigate the impacts of climate change, WEMC organisational membership ensures their employees have free access to interact with like-minded organisations and industry experts through one key contact.  We were delighted to receive their online application for free organisation membership.

Since 2015, when WEMC was established, we have offered a free membership opportunity for individual members and organisations. Five years on and our diverse WEMC community has grown significantly welcoming members from the USA, Europe, Africa, Asia and the UK.

We look forward to sharing opportunities with DEL to get involved in future WEMC events, virtually or in-person. Our Organisation Members also have the exclusive opportunity to be on the WEMC Advisory Board and help steer our future activities.
