Shelbie gained experience delivering sustainability focused projects and events first at The University of Cambridge, before working as a Conference Producer in Brighton where she delivered international summits focused on innovation and technology across agriculture and food systems.

She has a Masters in Gender & International Development from the University of East Anglia (UEA). Shelbie joined WEMC in December 2021 to support the  organisation of events and communications that WEMC is the coordinator of or a partner in.
